SPIDERMAN SAM
Because of the nature of this Soldiers work we cannot display any pictures of his puppy or the Soldier BUT when they get stateside we can! So stay tuned and lets Get them out of Afghanistan soon!
PS: Spiderman Sam is really a SHE !
From her soldier:
Our pup, Spiderman, or Sam, as we like to call her, has been living with my platoon and me for several weeks now since we found her in Kandahar city in the middle of December. obviously what i do won't let me tell you the details of how we found her but it was clear that in the dead of winter in the city, and at about three or fours weeks old, she wouldn't live on her own, and as she followed us we deduced that there was no mother looking after her. Much to the disbelief of the company, we helped her for those first couple weeks that she should have had a mother, and in the last week she has become much stronger and it is clear that she will survive with our help, but that is only the beginning of our problems. We are leaving to return home in less than a month and i am confident that the troops replacing us will not take care of her, as our leadership has made it clear that she is not allowed. the only options for her were being turned loose on KAF or going home and living a peaceful life in America off the streets of Afghanistan. As for as Sam being in danger, if she is left here and manages to survive on the base, she'll be like every dog in KC looking for scraps and getting rocks thrown at her. I just don't see her making it here without another stroke of luck like she's had with us.

TILLY IS HOME IN THE USA!!! SAN ANTONIO TEXAS IS HER NEW HOME!
Tilly is properly settled and tucked in to bed. In the morning she's going to have a nice bath and a trip to the vet (to start the new year off on a health kick like everyone else). She was quiet as a cucumber in her crate when I picked her up. I let her out immediately. She enjoyed all the new smells, had a snack, drank an entire bottle of water, and walked by my side on a leash like we'd known each other forever. When she'd done her business and we started to drive home, she let out a sigh on the back seat and promptly went to sleep.
We got to the house and she wouldn't come in! She was very reluctant to meet her new sister Shafina. They wagged tails a bit, but Tilly seemed generally unimpressed. Eventually she came in and sniffed everything. We are keeping them in separate rooms overnight just to make sure Tilly gets rest. They'll have time to get to know each other.
She's a lovely dog with a very sweet temperament. Very cuddly and affectionate. She likes to play, as we found out when she did some somersaults on her bed. She also likes rawhide rolls - delicious, made in the USA beef rawhide. Yum. She picked it up and carried it to the bed. Seems like someone in Afghanistan gave her a rawhide! : )
Anyway, Tilly says thank you very much for being a part of her rescue. She loves her new home and can't wait to give you all a lick someday.
Sweet little Tilly.

MILEY: A Soldiers Soldier!
This is Miley! Here is her Soldiers Story:
"Miley is my squad's mascot and she goes everywhere we go. We enjoy letting her run around at the different patrol bases we go to and seeing her play with all of the other dogs. It has been quite cold here and she always sleeps in my sleeping bag at my feet. My squad works long hours as the company mobile section and Miley is always there to cheer us up when we are having a rough time. I really want to help this dog out by giving her a better life back home in the states."
Well Soldier Your Wish is our Command So Everyone Rally to get Miley to the USA...

TRIGGER
From the Marines Wife: "Trigger was picked up at an Afghan market by an Afghan solider because the family was trying to get rid of her and was going to kill her if she was not adopted. My husband took her in and has been with her ever since. She goes everywhere with him. I'm not sure on the age but the picture I attached is a few months old and she has gotten larger. Since he has no Internet, he sends SD cards home so I can see pictures. She is extremely loving and has already learned a few commands! They think she is about 4-5 months. "
This Marine &his family & friends have made the sizeable contribution to the cost of Triggers rescue so our goal is $1600.
Please help this Marine get his friend Trigger to the Land of the Free Because of the Brave! Thank You and Paw Salute Marine for your service!May you travel this journey with us as we make miracles happen....

OLD YELLER-FUNDS MET!!!!!
From Old Yeller's soldier:
"He started coming around the COP about two months ago. We didn't really find him. Instead, he found us. We don't know how old he is, but he is very well tempered and likes Americans a lot. He stays inside our COP regularly, but usually doesn't come inside our buildings because he gets run off by other soldiers. Most of the time, he can be found relaxing in the sun or getting food from our cooks."
Hang in there Old Yeller~We will get you to the USA!
Old Yeller's Soldier has been given the official command to remove this pup from the base. He wants Puppy Rescue Mission to bring him to safety so we are honoring his wish! Help us help him! Please donate to his chipin and Thankyou from all of us at Puppy Rescue Mission.

SANDY: URGENT RESCUE!!!
Here she is everyone...meet Sandy...she has captured the hearts of over 10 guys who care for her on a daily basis. It is their wish to get her to safety and they have even found her a ride to the shelter. It is their hope that she makes it to the USA where she will be loved and have a long happy life.
The bond between a soldier and his dog in a wartorn country is truly incredible. The impact these puppies have on NUMEROUS guys over there is just more amazing. We at Puppy Rescue Mission believe these puppies are impacting our Soldiers for a reason and that is why our Mission is to help them get their furry companions to safety. PRM is fundraising for these soldiers so that ASALcan rescue them. It just takes a few dollars from a large group to accomplish this Mission.
So RALLY everyone and Lets Get Sandy Girl Home. She is too precious to leave there to die!
Lets get Sandy to The Land of the Free BECAUSE of the Brave!

Beautiful Baby Boy Bruno
Bruno's Soldiers Words~
"He is a great puppy. He started coming around recently and honestly just captured my heart. Once I started playing around with him he made me feel at ease in a strange way. I could not help but think of how he would be a wonderful addition to my home. Every day he comes around and he plays with some of our guys, I try to see him everyday but I miss him sometimes."
This soldier has a dog he loves greatly back home named River. Because of some family issues River is going to be split up from the brother pup he has been with for 3 years. This soldier is hoping that Bruno will fill that void for not only River but also for him and his son.
Because of the trials this soldier is facing Puppy Rescue Mission must make this happen!!!
Please help us!! Donate to Mission Bruno and lets get him to

GINGER
Ginger, a sweet female lab mix whom we rescued from the streets several months ago is needing a home in the USA and funding to get her there. She was originally placed with a local family but they did not treat or feed her well enough (this is a terrible problem for us) and we had to take her back as she was looking thinner and weaker. Now has gained some weight since arriving back at the shelter and we are determined to find her a loving home here in the USA. She could also travel in January if we have her funds. Ginger is very sweet and she is not tiny but small and light enough to be pick up and hold, as you can see. We have asked our vet to spay her this week and plan to bring her home late January if all goes well. It is our dearest wish (and urgent need) to find her a loving home by that time. Now to tackle the fundraising for this sweetie! We greatly appreciate any donations! We need your help to get another puppy to

Peanut Sweet Stray in Afghanistan
This is Peanut, a sweet little dog rescued from the streets of Kabul. She was a very very thin little pup when we got her. Now she is doing so much better and in need of a home that can shower her with love. We have a very good prospective home for her in the USA and just need some funds to bring her to the Land of the Free, Because of The Brave. She will have a traveling companion to escort her safely.
Thank you so much for your support.
